This kitchen in Glen Ellyn underwent a complete transformation. New appliances, new lighting, new counters and new backsplash. There was, however, no reason to tear out the existing cabinets which were in still in good shape. Refacing was the best option for the cabinets.

Shaker Style with Cup Pulls
The owners, along with a designer, selected a solid maple frame door factory finished in “Pearl”. The style is basically Shaker with a small bit of detail around the inside edge of the frame.

Installing a Wine Fridge in Place of Cabinetry
We covered the open shelving with solid doors and added glass doors to display the glassware. Underneath, we removed the 4 drawers and changed the space to accommodate a wine refrigerator.
