This was a kitchen cabinet refacing project we did in Geneva. The owners of this beautiful home in Geneva wanted a completely new look and feel for their kitchen. With a very active household, doing a complete tearout and replacement would have thrown everything into turmoil for weeks. We refaced the exsiting cabinets with solid 1/4″ cherry. replaced all the drawer boxes, drawer fronts and cabinets doors with solid cherry and they were able to get the look and feel they wanted in about a week with minimal disruption to their home life.

The existing cabinets were in good shape, but the owners were tired of the “country look”. We refaced them in cherry using an elegant “pillow miter” door and converted two of the cabinets into glass doors.

The island, like many stock kitchen islands, had all the charm of a plywood box. We covered it in cherry and installed some nice frame and molding details along with rope-molding columns.
